Wolf appliances are made from quality materials, so their appliances last for a long time. Each part is important to ensure that you will be able to take advantage of what their appliance can provide.

One of the most important parts of a Wolf appliance is the relay board or relay control board. Its purpose is to respond to signals from the control board in the control panel by closing an opening relay to control the voltage in an oven or stove. However, there are times that the relay board needs to be replaced due to damage to its on and off control button and faulty heating functions. If this happens, this will cause the oven not to function well and won’t allow you to cook the food properly, such as the baking and broiling. To ensure proper Wolf Built-in Oven Repair, you must let a professional handle the work.

If you think that the relay board of your appliance causes the issue, you can change this by following the steps. Make sure that you have the right tools to use.

Turn off the Power and the Gas

Make sure to carefully unplug the appliance and turn off its gas supply.

Remove the Lower Back Panel

Remove the screws that secure the back panel. Carefully remove this, ensure that the back panel won’t fall, and set this aside in a safe position.

Detached the Relay Control Board

Before you remove this, it would be best to take a photo of the wires that are attached to the relay board, or you can mark them with numbered pieces using a masking tape before you will remove the relay board, and it would be easy for you to attach the new relay board to the wires. Once done, disconnect all the wires from the relay board.

Remove the Relay Control Board

There are mounting screws that secure the relay control board located at the back of the wall oven. Unscrew them together with the mounting clips. You can proceed to safely discard the control board.

Install the New Relay Board

Ensure to safely unbox the new control board and remember to discharge the static electricity that can cause damage to the control board. It is best to wear a grounding strap or touch the metal frame of the oven to ground yourself if you are about to mound the new board.

Connect the Cables

Reconnect the wires in their respective location, and you can refer to the image you have taken or the indicator numbers you have made using the masking tape. If you cannot properly attach the cables, you can call Wolf Appliance Repair in Manhattan Beach to handle the work.

Reattach the Back Panel

Ensure that the mounting holes are properly lined up as you place the back panel back into the appliance. Secure the back panel using the mounting screws.

Turn Back On the Gas and Power

For the last step, place the oven in its specific position and ensure that your appliance is secured and placed in a leveled position. Then turn on the gas supply and the plug to turn the power on.
